01 Wipe with a towel
When there is water mist on the glass, the first thing that comes to mind is naturally to wipe it off with a towel, and the effect is immediate. However, the duration is not long, and mist may form again after a while. If you need to manually remove the "window mist", remember to park your car in a safe area where parking is allowed, wipe it clean, and then hit the road.
02 Air conditioner defogging
Automotive air conditioning is the most commonly used method for defogging, as both cold and warm air can effectively remove fog, albeit through different mechanisms.
▶Cold Wind Defogging: This mode is fast and effective, and allows for self-adjustment of air volume and cooling temperature. Given that the weather is not too cold now, this mode is suitable.
▶Heated Wind Defogging: When prolonged defogging is required in late autumn and winter, you can opt for heated wind defogging. This mode is ideal for those who prefer not to feel the cold wind, and it starts off at a slower speed.
▶Quick defogging: When the front windshield is heavily fogged and quick defogging is required, this mode can be selected. It not only defogs quickly and effectively, but also operates simply.
03 Open the window to allow air circulation
When fog appears inside the car, simply open the windows to allow for ventilation, ensuring the temperature inside and outside the car remains consistent. This method is convenient, quick, economical, and practical, but it is not suitable for use in cold winter weather. It is recommended to use this method when the temperature outside the car is tolerable. This mode is not suitable for use in low-temperature environments.
04 soapy water for anti-fogging
Mix soap and water in a ratio of 1:10, apply it to the glass, and wipe it with a towel after it dries. This not only cleans the glass but also effectively prevents fogging, ensuring clear vision.
05 Use anti-fog spray
Gently spray a small amount of anti-fog spray on the windshield and then wipe it off. This not only removes dirt but also restores the clarity of the glass. Nowadays, many defogging agents also have a cleaning function, which can incidentally clean the dirt on the surface of the glass, making them quite practical.
